Lucy Gray is right. It's Ryan, Sal, Brian. You can tell Ryan's voice, in all its deliciousness. 2nd verse you notice the voice is a little higher and cleaner. And the 3rd verse is Brian, you can tell he has a more raspy voice. |

Ok, so THIS song. Jason wrote again (most of the stuff on HTSAF is religiously connected) I think the song is Jesus Christ himself talking to someone, or people. Or just in general. Saying that he basically IS everything. "you could pretend to be, but you will kill me when you're through." We know he was killed. It can be about faith like everyone else said. But maybe its through Jesus Christs POV. Or what thinks about faith? "I am the oasis, the strength, the weakness for arguments sake" That line is like my favorite.. He'll be the weakness for arguments sake. Like 'i'd rather lose this battle, to not argue' Thats being the bigger person. This song = hotness. |

| Ok so noone has said what they think the song means to them.. I'll try one. Because on the fsfboards. One of the band members said Jason wrote this song. It's about his relationship with GOD. And how he feels it has hit a rough bump with time (months, years, days, weeks IDK) idk how long. But it's about or supposedly about his relationship with GOD. If I remember correctly it was because of his busy schedule or fiancee or band that he hadnt had much time to connnect with GOD. "this is not dystrophy but desire".. its like 'this is not me losing touch with you, its more like me getting IN touch with THEM/HER/MY LIFE'.. There ya' go I tried. | |

So on the furtherseemsforever boards.. At FSFBOARD.COM... one of the band members posted in reply to some of the kids questions about the what are the meanings to some of the songs... Blank Page Empire was written by Jason, while he was going thru writers block.. hence A BLANK PAGE empire. "Sounds like a radio tuned to whitenoise" Ever had writrers block?, isnt that a way of describing your mind/thoughts.. like whitenoise.. whatever, you can decypher the rest. But thats what the song is about to the singer at least. I know FSF likes writing songs, that can have a universal meaning to every person. |
