Excellent song!! Real powerfull & emotional. Seems to be set around some good friends - one of them dies and the song is about their feelings soon after the death. There was loadsa shit posted earlier about New Jersey etc. I dont know about that stuff but im from Cornwall in the U.K and i think theyre fucking awesome, NJ seems cool tho - i mean - Jay and Silent Bob were Jersey boys!!!!:) |

This song is about the downfall of society in general - about all the shit that goes on in the world and about the mistakes we make and dont do anything about. **Walkin in the streets and look at all this shit** **Maybe you would like to peek through the curtain at the same mistake you know youll always make** Max is telling us to not just sit down and let all these mistakes pass us by and not to just watch our society fall apart. **Are you gonna lay da fuck back down** **Are you gonna give up like a bitch or JumpDaFuckUp?** Max tries to tell us briefly that if we wanna do something about the state of our society we should not fight each other but against the goverment maybe?? or the people sat on their asses "pretending to be sorting our world out"??? This song is the best one off the album. I agree with choose bronze - i thought the true meaning of the song was about feeling like shit because youve not been there for people you love when you should have been. I do think that it has something to do with the way he wants his music to affect people. He uses the idea of a paramedic who helped him escape death - this is meaning he hopes that his music can help change others people lives - he wants his concerts to be more than flashing lights and sounds - he wants his songs to "move" them. Anyways fucking great song - if you think ive got this wrong - let me know. But thats what i think bout it!!! THRICE RULE! |
