This song has great meaning to me. I had believed our dead loved ones never truly went away that they remain to watch over us in times of need. My mother In-law is the one to convince me of that she too honestly believed it. The first time I heard this song it was on CMT I was sitting with my son. Earlier that day 3 of my 4 kids and I were in a car accident, I had as a spur of the moment thing I allowed my other child stay home and play with the neighbor. When our car was struck it was were that child would have been sitting had he been in the car. They said it was a miracle that the worst injury out of us all was a few stitches to the head, we all walked away, when we shouldn't have. I don't care what anyone says or thinks I know that my mother In-law had been watching over all of that day. ( She had passed away almost exactly one year before the accident.) By the end of the song, I was in tears holding my child just thankful that we were still there. |
