| AFI – Sacrilege Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| 10 years being a fan? Ok, go pay attention to the lyrics for some of the songs on Shut Your Mouth And Open Your Eyes, Black Sails, Art of Drowning, Sing the Sorrow, and Decemberunderground. How could you possibly get upset just now? Probably cuz AFI's lyrics back then weren't that direct about things. Anyway, Davey's not encouraging anything. He's only expressing his views. You seem sure of your religious beliefs, you won't change them just because of a song, so do yourself a favor and relax. | |

| could be. but i think the song is more centered on feeling isolated and distant by how weird and different you are or feel to be. | |

| the part about not having his dog and living on an island in the middle of town... i think Chris is saying that he's alone, or feels alone. | |
| Chris Garneau – Fireflies Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
The full length version of "Fireflies" from the upcoming album EL RADIO has been uploaded to Chris Garneau's MySpace. I think the lyrics go a little like this: "Fireflies" It's not easy, so take it slow. You're coming up. You're coming round the bend. You're my good friend. Best friend. And you're coming up, you're coming round the bend You're making friends with the fireflies. I can't say that that comes as a surprise. But the things they say are not what they seem, So you've been called to tell us what they mean. Yes, you've been called to tell us what they mean. It's a plot though, I told you so. I'm wising up. I'm wising up to them. They say, "My good friends. Best friends." But I'm wising up. I'm wising up to them. You're making friends with the fireflies. You know when they die their light stays alive. And the things they say are not what they seem, So you've been called to tell us what they mean. Yes, you've been called to tell us what they mean. You're making friends with the fireflies. I can't say that that comes as a surprise. But the things they say are not what they seem, So you've been called to tell us what they mean. Yes, you've been called to tell us what they mean. Yes, you've been called to tell us what they mean. Yes, you've been called to tell us what they mean. |

| Muse – Sing for Absolution Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
A person who unconditionally loves an individual who is now distant. This person still cares for this individual, to the point where dreaming is the only place they could be. This person must have trusted this individual with everything (life), and now that this individual is distant, this person has no one to escape with. History has been made and cannot be undone. Now, the question is, why did this individual become distant? Well, whatever the reason might have been, this person is asking for forgiveness. This person is singing for absolution. Holding on hopes, falling from the individual's grace. We are humans prone to "sin". There's no "salvation" when you aren't given the chance to "amend" yourself. |

| Muse – Shine Lyrics | 17 years ago |

I don't know if anyone would agree with me on this one... but I sort of think that the Acoustic version of Shine is slightly different on the lyrics. "Shine (Acoustic) by Muse Who cares for the life we've earned? Someone sold all the truth you yearn. Remember when you used to shine and had no fear or sense of time? When it creeps up on you... You can't cry now. Theres nothing to feel. And no one's noticed our loneliness. Remember when you used to tease? It made us scream eternal joy. I believe that you'll always be here, cause once you promised a life with no fear. Please don't break my ideals. And say what's fake was always real. Hope was the one. Now I'm gone. Take me back again." ...but I CAN be wrong. =P |

| Katzenjammer Kabarett – Geniune, A Fantastic Revue Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
here 'tis, what i think the song means: Percy is in love with a woman (Genuine) in a painting he made. He loves her so much that he wouldn't sell the painting, not even to a king. Percy has also gone mad for his obsession/love for Genuine(AHEM!paintingAHEM!). At the beginning there are two guys at the painters door, I think one is a friend of his, and the other a person interested in unique paintings... perhaps the painters friend recommended him? dunno for sure... Well at the end the painter isnt convinced by his friend/others/whatever to sell his painting. And at the end he casts a spell of some sort and makes the woman in the painting come to life or something like that... well thats what i think... by the way, good song, in every way. the music and lyrics are very good and intregueing |
