This song is my favourite from the album, but unfortunately they grammatically err in the chorus when they opine: "maps won't show us where we're going all they are is just the boring facts relax" The correct form would be "all they are, are just the boring facts" |

| I take the song to be about a relationship where he's realized how shallow and useless the person is now that he's picked through the scab to see the real person. Kind of similar to themes from Broken/Fragile, but in a more "life sucks but at least I realize that" way :) | |

| The lyrics remind me of pretty hate machine for some reason.. The hope amongst the gloom "maybe there's some great thing we could achieve" only to be overcome by reality and more gloom.. Can't WAIT for this album.. | |
