Honestly, I don't even view this song as rap at all. I hate rap, but I love the rock twist this song has, and yeah, Morgan Lander's awesome. |

I don't know why everyone's getting so worked up about this whole thing. We all knew it was going on, people shooting their peers and shit, so why is there so much talk about someone who makes a song about it? I'm not much of a pink floyd fan, but according to a lot of you they wrote a song like this one, and if they did, how come no one saw this comming (the shooting and the "corruption" of the youth).
I also have to agree with someone at the top of the boards, that being trouble or misunderstood is "in" so it's hard to tell when someone is really troubled, or they're just faking to be "cool".
An one last thing, you're all talking about how our parents need to be more involved and be better parents, and maybe they're all just ignorent, but I doubt a lot of parents realize that their kids are depressed or whatever, so how are they supposed to know. And if they try to help their children then they might just rebel even more and end up running away and living on the streets.
I'm not sure if my comments really fit in here. Too bad. |
