Everyone has their own tastes. Just because you don't like their music doesn't mean you should trash talk it. But this is a site where you can post whatever you want so feel free to do so. I just don't understand why you would waste your time talking about how you hate bands on their pages. I'm not going to say anything about the people who do bash this band, but I like Hawthorne Heights. This song is really beautiful to me. The slit your wrists part could be left out, but that's just me. I love the vocals. I like the music and the way it is put together as well. |

I can personallly relate to this song. my dad and I don't get along and when I went through a hard time I listened to this song and I was able to cope. Wierd how music can do that. |

I thought this had some political meaning. "Teach your kid how they're all young enough to fight" has to do with war and telling kids about the army and military. Also the whole corus talks about closing the door. Fighting kills people and ends all their plans or "closes the door'. The military forces people to be uniform so that would be the wear the name and be the same. Then in the second verse it actually mentions war. he would be the only survivor from the war. That's my take. This is my fav. song of theirs. |
