I love this band, and this song os one of my favorites by them. Really well done, really pretty and very powerful lyrics. This is deffinitly an amzing song, obviously pretty anti-suicide. Its deffinitly brought me through tough times I was babysitting 2 girls. One is about 12, and little mini-avril and the other is 13. Well, they where acting all disturbed, dark and stuff. And they said that when they are sad they wanted to go in there room and they put on Good Charlotte. I guess their generations anti-suicide song is by Gc, that one called \'hold on\' (I heard that video was cool in the sense that it had actually pple who where suicidal talking out, and pple who had lost loved ones to suicide.) I put on 3eb for them and once jumper came on, I was sure that i had converted them too good music. They LOVED jumper and narcolepsy. This also proved to me that these lyrics reach across to almost all ages, infact even my MOM likes this song. |

I\'m sure alot of people relate to this song as yet another romance gone wrong, but for me I relate to it on a differant level. More of how stuff got so messed up between my dad and me, and even with my mom and I. This song reminds me of ages ago, listening to ithe 3eb CD with some of my best friend in the basement of one of the kids church. We all had just lost a very close friend. Our group of six was brought to 5. We had all known each other since we where in diapers, hug out everyday. And suddenlt everything was fucked. Since we where younger, we weren\'t so much relating to the alcohol part of this song. Just the mood that the song had, was special to us. Even nowadays, we\'re all much older. This song still brings back major memorys. This album is one of my faves of all time, every song on here kicks ass. |

If I had time I would go though each line, but i'm about to log off. But damn, its so good. This song shows why chris and dashboard is SOO amazing. And now for a little bragging... My sister got me a poster singed by chris for x-mas! Damn, the crowd went WILD, CRAZY and INSANE during this song. It was kick ass. The pit went up in flames, swear to god it was the BEST. Everyone was coming uot with missing clothes, black eyes and there was alot of blood. I personally love this song b/c I can most deffinitly relate to this song. Well, when I first saw there newest video I was at my friends house. Watching Tv, I was on MTV. And this came on... To tell you the truth I started laughing out loud. It was horrible. But super corny, too. I just saw the video recently, b/c I dont have cable at my house, so its pretty rare that I watch Mtv, etc... Why I am I so cold, Why I'm so hard inside. Why am I scared? What am I afraid of? Thats the part that I laughed at the hardest. Yeah, man, your sooo fucking cold and dark. With your hanging out/dating hillary duff and stuff. Anyways. DAMN, you would think with GC being hella popular now and super big, they would have really great writers helping them along by now. (Take Avril for example, she's got the matrix and shit.) So how come when they wanted this horrendous song to be there first single, someone didint clue them in that its sucks major donkey balls? Who ever they got writing for them needs to try a little harder (Or maybe they write all there stuff, doubtful, but a possiblity. I really dont know.), but then again, its going to take a ton to help GC. They have prety much blown since they put out that last on. lifestyles of the Rich and famous, I think. She was really friendly, and almost a little shy. She signed stuff for my friend and me. Some people recruited me to sing in there little band a while back, its been a awsome experiance, but anyways. We hardly have one practice without me having them play this song just so I can rock out and sing it. And I deffinitly always sing it more like Vanessa Carltons cover then the original. |
