It's strange that you say that. You can love this country and not have voted Bush. I think this is a great country, but we just don't have the greates president at the time.
Besides, this song isn't about Bush or reublicans or whatever. It's about how stupid americans are. My dad is a major republican. He's a smart guy though. He notices how stupid America is getting, and I don't think he's part of that. |

Actually my friend burned me the CD. I listened to the whole thing. It's okay, but it would be so much better if everyone didn't love it. It's hard to like something that everyone else likes.
Also, they are totally contadicting themselves in this song. "One nation controlled by the media." They are the media, and they are attempting to control America through this song. It's pretty sick. These assholes manipulating 12 year old girls who believe -and follow- a band, but havn't watched the news more than twice.
Oh, and who dropped the Green Day bomb on the world? Everywhere I go, everything is Green Day. They've always been around. American Idiot is just as good as any of their other stuff. How did they all the sudden become so popular?
