WOW! this song is stuck on repeat right now. i cannot stop listening to it. i have my share of emotional problems, and one of them is that i am deatly afraid of losing poeple even if they are not good for me...but i just had the epiphany that a certain very intense, long term relationship was doing nothing but hurting me, so i had to dump it, but i was soo afraid to do it, even 2 days ago, and now, i will not put myself back in that position again...i would rather die then be with her again |

the media these days is overwhelming our society. Now the TV tells you whatr to think, feel, like, hate everything, either explicitly, or subconciously. This is killing our society. it talks about how TV is a drug, poeple use for escapeism, as illustrated by the line "come dose." The sad part about our society is we just suck this drugged cathode ray nipple, building up a tolerance, and it needs to become more and more stimulating. this is why society is going down. it is easier to go down then up in intelligence, and just as shocking and stimulating. LSD maby?? this certainly sounds like some of the deep concepts i have delt with on a hard Sandoz trip. This song is the definition of Psychedellic ego loss...thats what it means to me. how can there be no comments to this song. the meaning is obvious...its about the feeling that nothing is real, everything you feel is tainted somehow...from druguse. But there is that special someone there for you, especially while trying to get clean, and they make it all seem worthwhile, and they are your support. this song makes me cry everytime i hear it, thinking about those that are clean in my life, that standby me no matter what. and makes me wanna thankthem. |
