i understand this as the superficiality of things.. like the "blinding lights" are the things that don't let you appreciate things the way they really are.. and the "advertisings in the skies" are the stars, that remind us like the world we live in.. thats why then ist says "can you see the beauty inside of me?" like not just to see the person itself, but his soul... also in "Time won’t leave me as I am".. is that people are going to change in time.. but the beauty inside stays forever... |

Johnny's parents died when he was 14.. her fathre was an alcoholic her mother died the same year of a heart disease... i think this song is maybe about how he and his sisters felt when they lost his parents .. i don't know ... something to do with that.. |
