| Spoon – The Beast and Dragon, Adored Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
I like how the stanza Where did you get for so long I been learning my scene I been watching my friends move away I summon my love back to me And I went down by the seawall That's when I knew, knew They Never Got You is like an outline of the songs that will come in the rest of the album |

| Kings of Leon – Taper Jean Girl Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| yeah, KoL are almost TOO original (I've tried to find other bands like them with no success). I'm absolutely in love with just about every one of their songs. And Caleb's voice is fucking amazing! I want to see them in concert . . . but it's gonna be on the first day school starts again. Dammit. | |
| Beck – Girl Lyrics | 20 years ago |

i'm pretty sure it's "sun-eyed" too. at first i thought it was "summer", but listening harder i noticed it was deffinitely not an m, but an n sound. Tornadic: where does it say it's also called "summer girl"? |

| Wilco – Reservations Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| yeah, i think this song's pretty obvious what it's about: a man who's very apprehensive and reserved about most things, just not about his love. | |
| Wilco – Radio Cure Lyrics | 21 years ago |

just a lyrical note: it's not "all distance has no way" it's "distance has no way" (i just checked the cd booklet) i think the word being confused for 'all' is really 'oh', just a sound he has in there. |

| Wilco – Kamera Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| this song is actually called "kamera". | |
| Franz Ferdinand – Tell Her Tonight Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| i love this song. i can deffinitely relate with the whole angsty "is that her flirting with me or am i just imagining things?" idea. i'm pretty sure this song, at least to me whether it was meant to be or not, is about flirting. | |
| Wilco – War On War Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| great song. is it just me, or does it sound a little french when he's singing "it's a war on war"? the r in the first "War" sounds very french to me (or maybe it's just cause i'm taking french . . . ) | |
| The Magnetic Fields – I Looked All Over Town Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| I think this song is about how people can be so caught up on how people look that they never get to meet the person underneath. And that maybe there's somewhere out there for even the oddest people (like a circus clown), somewhere where people won't be mean to you for who you are ("throwing rocks" at you). | |
