A lot of people on songmeanings.net are so stupid. They want to tell their stupid ideas of what the song means to them before reading the other comments. READ THE OTHER COMMENTS! The song is obviously an homage to "A Prayer for Owen Meany". If you take the time to read the book, you'd realize it's about that and only that. Please don't make yourself look retarded by saying it's about something you made up like Jim Adkins looking at his girlfriend on the ground. And no one believes you, onasunday, that you talked to him on the phone. The movie Simon Birch is called Simon Birch because John Irving forced them to change the name on account of the fact that it's so unlike the book. He also made them change the credit from "based on A Prayer for Owen Meany" to "suggested by". The track length thing is really interesting, but I'm sure if it's anything, it's a reference to the book and not suicide. Read "A Prayer for Owen Meany". Unless you're royalruckusfan or onasunday. Because I'm not sure they know what books are. |

JEW has a song called Christmas Card where he mentions a postcard "marked December twenty-three"... that song was probably written around 1995 too, so I thought that was interesting. I wonder if the number 23 is significant to Jim? He sure does use it a lot. |
