Oops!!! it's not Dod manns tango, it's "Fra sjafor til passasjer". By the way, this is an expression used in the norwegian mob to mean that someone got killed. He was degradated from chaffeur to passenger. cheers!!! |

Kaizers Orchestra are the "masters" when it comes to tell stories. the whole album "Ompa til du dør" is a story about a mob leader called Mr. Kaizer. Tony, the guy that died is the son of Mr. Kaizer. Monsieur Clavier is like the right hand of Mr. Kaizer and the guy that "sings" this song is like the "adoptive" child of Mr. Kaizers. Look at Dod Manns tango "Det vaer meg Dominique, som hadde ansvar for Tony Fusciante, din bror min kamerat" It means "it's me, Dominique, who has the answer for Tony Fusciante, your brother, my dear friend".
