i think a lot of the meanings yall have thought of make sense but i dont think it matters that much what you think as long as it means something to you! this song is amazing and i love it so much!! its just a different almost kinda creepy song that has so much but saying so little. its incredible and so is kurt cobain he is quite possibly the greatest man that ever lived in my opinion. and he would still be here if it wasnt for courtney! |

wow i cant beleive that they are up here!!! i got their demo cd at crabtree valley mall last year in the fall directly from the band and i was skeptical at first but then i listened to the cd on the way home and WOW they are great! this is my favorite song by far and "the stars spell out your name and sparkle till they fade" what a great line!!! i cant believe no one else has commented b/c they are great. if you havent heard them yet then do b/c i love them! |

ok all of you actually have it mixed up! jamie is the name of the lawyer that helped to get weezer signed in the first place. when they all started out they didnt have a contract with anyone b/c they were something so different and they got turned down a lot b/c of it. so finally this amazing lawyer named jamie took them on and they got signed. they all love her so much and so they decided to write a song for her. it has nothing to do w/ loving her or anything like that at all its about their lawyer!!! :)
i first heard this song when my wonderful friend erin told me it reminded her of me b/c the best guy ever that i love had an ex girlfriend named jamie and he always compares me to her cuz we are a lot alike. but personally i dont like jamie erickson!!! but u dont know her so dont worry about it haha |

this songs lyrics really speak to me for some reason its so true about "all the self conscience girls who try to hide who they are with makeup" so many girls do that everyday and i myself find myself trying to change who i am and how people see me w/ fakeness such as makeup! and also the end of the song sounds really sexual to me and i love it! its not something you're used to hearing in a song like this i guess and yea i just really love this song. |
