I'm a HUGE SRV fan and I love this song.... This reminds me of a fantasy I have where I would be in some coffe place or something in that nature, singing this song to one of my good friends who is stationed in the Air Force. I actually have a thing for her and I wish she didn't leave, but I have always wanted to sing this to her. |

This song can also be taken as a song as suicide. Just bare with me here....... With the part "Look into my eyes, I'm not coming back" the person is obviously serious about ending his/her life. With "knives out" obviously the person is using some kind of knife or something to that effect i.e. a razor blade etc., just something to slit a wrist or what have you. When it comes to shoving him in the pot, its just making this person another statistic in the ongoing act of suicide among people today. It's like, "Here is another one to add to the group, put him in there with the rest." Good song, the first I got used to and loved on Amnesiac. RADIOHEAD RULES!!!!! |
