im sure others have put this... superfically: the song is about the nervous groom pacing in the church just before the ceremony. He overhears the bridesmaid, who must be a friend of the bride, saying that his bride is a whore... so he interrupts them angrily saying, "Haven't you people ever heard of closing a goddamn door?"... he didn't want to know that his bride is a whore! so he calms down, its minutes before the wedding! he couldn't cancel it... and if he just pretends it never happened, well then "technically, our marriage is saved". so he decides: "No, it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality". the singer is his conscience, the side that's telling him that it is wrong, and he shouldn't ignore it. we can see his conscience getting really pissed, and making him face the truth (that he's bride is a whore)... and then they merge. and i believe that that's just the surface of it... that this whole video clip is a metaphor sorta... it's talking about hearing something you don't want to hear and how to deal with such a situation: confronting the problem? or not dealing with it at all? i love this song! its original and different! can't believe its only getting released in australia A FULL YEAR after it was released in the US!!! look forward to more of these guys' stuff! |

i think this song is rather sweet... too often we all go for looks than what is on the inside.... if only all guys thought this way... all girls for that matter... and not just for a relationship but for friendship and just people in general. isn't a beautiful soul much more long lasting and so much more better than just a beautiful face? |

This is a really sweet song about missing a guy that she can't be with. for some reason I kept thinking the line "I've only got you" was 'I've got Pickachu'... I think this may be because I heard the song on the Pokemon album LOL |

I think this song is about loving someone that doesn't love you back. He only sees her as a friend, and not a very important one at that. She is in pain and cares for him a lot, but he won't even give her a second glance. She wishes he thinks of her as much as she thinks of him... So she will leave, end their friendship... but knowing him, he will barely notice and that pains her the most. That he never really acknowledged her presence. I can relate to this song a lot, not too long ago I really liked a guy friend, but it never worked out, and I kept feeling really sad about it. I felt that if I wasn't around, no one would notice - HE wouldn't notice. |

I think this song is about pretending to be someone to everyone else but she doesn't want to pretend. She's depressed about it, she wants to be true to herself. She's been broken before, "shattered" and hurt before, so she hides herself, but by hiding her true self she is hurting herself the more. "I know the difference, Between myself and my reflection. I just can't help but to wonder, Which of us do you love. " Many people think that this is about relationships... but based on these lines? I don't agree. You have to take all the lyrics into consideration. So I believe that she is singing about hiding herself, and she wonders the people that love her (be it her love, her family, her friends) do they really love her true self, or the self she shows everyone else? I hope that makes sense... I love this song, I love it even more since finding the lyrics... very deep and I feel I can relate. "Lie to me, Convince me that I've been sick forever.
