"Once again im settling for second best", he is obviously hurt about something that went wrong in a previous relationship but doesnt want to deal with it so he gives up......Although he doesn;t want to deal with it, it seems to be all he thinks about.. The pain seems to be something that only escapes him in sleep cause "it only hurts when your eyes are open" My favorite line must be "Two worlds should never collide" To me it signifies the failure of most relationships and how two people collide and yet chances are its a waste of time.. this song has such strong lyrics it feels that they are piercing through your heart...cause i can so relate to feeling hurt...and most of us can.. |
