I think that this song is about over coming addiction, and how raw the world appears when you emerge. Over time you loose what you feel like, and the world seems so cut up and harsh, you feel torn up and empty, i think the referances to self mutalition refer back to the drug use. Bert has gotten so used to being addcited, that he doesn't even know what his real self is ( im a fake) Theres also a referance to A Taste of Ink, which I believe is about speed. ( All my ink satisfied..ink=the taste of speed.) |
