On a live version of this, he sang "I Bake A Nice Cake" before "My Beat Is Correct". XD |

I can see this being about obsession, maybe just unreturned love and self-hatred. They aren't very ambiguous lyrics. |

| Beck – Asshole Lyrics
|
|
I like how Beck plays guitar on the "One Foot In The Grave" album. He strums with so much force, he creates a sort of "ckssh" sound on the lower strings. Listen to "Cyanide Breath Mint" and this song, it's really clear on them. I actually throught he was using one of those ratchet percussion things the first time I heard it. |

Yeah, it IS a lot like that emotional deadness... even not just from breakups, but love leaves ya like that sometimes. |

I think it's supposed to be through the perspective of his partner. He's a drug addict, and this song's about being in love with an addict. |

I kick ass for submitting these. But seriously, I think it's got something to do with religion. Or something.... |

| Ween – What Deaner Was Talkin' About Lyrics
| 21 years ago
|
|
I think Deaner was talking about becoming worthless after feeling loved. "The sun comes up" is a reference to the change from one thing to the next. He's "all washed out", meaning that he's washed up. He's not important or loved. They don't like. If we just keep saying all the Ween songs are drugs, we never think of this sort of possibility. |

| Ween – The Stallion Pt. 3 Lyrics
|
Each Stallion part released on a major album {not live or Online only} is about a different drug, as so:
Part 1: Sounds Like Booze, or maybe Acid. Maybe a mix. It's making him mean, scared, angry, and giving him a feeling of power.
Part 2: Weed. Really clear. Or maybe a depressant, but Weed is a pretty good guess.
Part 3: LSD. He's having hallucinations, believes himself to have powers, engaging in "screaming backwards" and "screaming softly" talking of floating, out of body experiences, holding time from the sun.
And yes, Ween doth rocketheth ass off. |

| Ween – Mononucleosis Lyrics

Both of them got Mono whilst they were in the midst of recording "The Pod". That's why it took a few months to record, and why the tracks differ in sound quality and overall intonation. |

This song is about a boy lusting for some adult female in his life; be it a teacher, a nun, somebody |

| Ween – Transdermal Celebration Lyrics

I think it's a reference to God. All the stuff about being protected, growing with the land, the fact that the track becomes so powerful towards the jet part, and he seems happy about it. Safe. Meh, that's my opinion. |
