i played this song a few times on repeat thinking it was about lost friends/lover, depression, and pushing forward. On that note; a very relatable song. now actually reading the lyrics and how completely wrong i had been singing the song i'm guessing it's about drug addiction, which is less relatable. but still a beautiful song. |

| If this isn't about a breakup, and how he has let himself go and how she has moved on to a better life and how he has been excluded from it, then I have just been let down immensely. This song has hit the nail on the head as to how I've been feeling. | |

i agree with the clapping, and the other songs have the claps as well as a kind of marching band drum sound... i still like the new stuff overall though. |

defintitely pertains to his lack of trust and inability to love her the way he used to. "I wonder why I'm so caught off guard when we kiss. I'd rather live my life in regret then do this." He doesn't initiate the kiss, its not within him to do so. He'd rather be living his life without putting up with his own lack of feelings toward her than to be in the lovelost relationship. It's ending, disintegrating, and he knows it. "Do what you want, But I'm drinking." - he wants her to be happy, regardless of the affect on him. He'll drink just to get over it. it's a pretty intense song for such a slow & mellow tempo. The drums are frigin awesome and aggressive as hell. I'll definitely buy the album because of this one song, I would buy it anyway, I'm a big fan of theirs to begin with. |
