my question is...what do you think the medication is? do you think they mean literal medication? or do you think it is a broader sense. maybe...this is walking out on a limb...maybe "love" is the medication i.e. chemistry...i don't really know. i like to think...this is just what i think...so...this guy has totally lost it "too much to smoke, too much to drink." he has tried to use these two things to "take away the pain," but it isn't/hasn't worked. so he is looking for something bigger and better. and honestly. when i'm being held everything feels better. maybe these two being together is his medication - or the thing that makes him feel better. my conclusion. medication is a metaphor for "love" |

well, i could be mistaking, but let me try and clear up a few lyrics...atleast this is how i thought they were. "we watch the season pull up it's own STAKES" "before the gold and the GLIMMER have been replaced" "invitations ONLY GRANT FAREWELLS" "too early to SAY GOODNIGHT" "and we all WILL sleep well, sleep well" "I watch you spin around" now, i am not saying i am right, i am just saying that i remember, and sing them differently. check them this song is heavenly...there is no other word to describe it. my favorite line has already been mentioned by some folks. "i watch you spin around in your highest heels you are the best one of the best ones, we all look like we feel" this line is absolutely amazing. GIRLS of the world, tell me when do you feel the most beautiful? well, for me it is when i am all dressed up(in my highest heels), dancing with no cares(spin around). so, in this setting i FEEL beautiful, therefore if i look like i feel, i am beautiful...correct? that is what i get out of this song. if nothing else it is a moving melody...*sigh* |

Well.... this is the most wonderful song ever, I just wish I had more songs by Head Automatica. This song, to me is about a guy who really likes this girl, but she is too good for him. So, he is really lamenting the loss of one such a wonderful lady as her. My advice to this guy, go grab her, and if you have to go through a football player, atleast throw a punch before giving up. And about Preps listening to it.... They don't listen to it over here, and I believe if the Preps are listening to it where you live, they are pretty dang awesome. Plus.. Preps, although rather shallow are almost always hott ... If I ever found a Prep listening to Head Automatica I would serve me up a hot piping plate of them. Mm...MMMMM! By the way... OneSecondRegrets, I know the song is amazing, and I agree with your statement. However, did you know that the word you used right before it really isn't a describing world. It is a Noun, and if you can't think of a better word to use there, you should probably pull out a dictionary and start studying. I don't want to offend you or anything, but you sure did a dandy job of the vica-versa. |
