this is an awesome song that all Christians can relate to because NONE of us are perfect. 'jesus freak'- that's my favorite line too :) "And this life sentence that I’m serving I admit that I’m every bit deserving but the beauty of grace is that it makes life not fair" (that one) it's so true. we all complain about our problems saying that it's not fair, but really we should be rejoicing because we don't even deserve to have such life in the Lord that we can and we don't deserve go to Heaven, but He loves us so much that we can, sinners that we are |

sounds like she's just talking about how she misses the fun she had with the person she's talking about, and like Lyri said, she misses how they fought. "we used to leave the blue lights on and there was a beat. ever since you have been gone it’s all caffeine-free" "none of them want to fight me" the new people she's hanging out with or her new boyfriend or whatever are boring "try to kick it, their feet fall asleep", and again "none of them want to fight me" "easy living crowd so flat" she's telling the person she's talking to in the song to combat the lethargy (inactivity, not caring about anything) and to come back to her i could be wrong but it sounds right to me |
