I agree. Even if the songs on X Factor are not as fast and heavy, or without Bruce, I still believe they are very, very good songs. Very emotionally driven. Especially this. |

Both versions of this song have deep meaning to me, but they are two separate meanings. NIN's version is much more depressing and dark, rather unsettling. I love it. However, Johnny Cash brilliantly makes it into his own anthem. Not dark and unsettling, but somber and reflective. As much as I like Trent's original, though, I'm going to have to say I like Cash's better. |

Had to throw this out there... this thing reminds me of the introduction to Nine Inch Nails - Mr. Self Destruct off of The Downward Spiral. I think LP said once they were partially influenced off of NIN, so I wonder.. |

This song basically sounds like someone who has a screwed up life, due to other people's actions and his own. As a result, he's going to kill himself (and possibly take others with him). The main purpose being that, possibly, he'll come back again and get a fresh start. |

Well, on Duality he says "bitched", but that's about it.
I love this song. It's quite different from their older stuff. It's pretty yet disturbing at the same time. |
