Pink Floyd – Comfortably Numb Lyrics 20 years ago
The song is about waters being a crying idiot, who can't cope with the world, because he's retarded or his mother was mean to him or whatever happened to this poor guy... that's what the whole wall is about and the lyrics are just flat. It doesn't mean anything, but variations of selfpity... Linkin Park lyrics... what's special about them is the music. I mean not on the Wall but the early stuff, the walls songs are pathetic... Waters had a manic depression or something...

Pink Floyd – Young Lust Lyrics 20 years ago
What a great song about being an little shit on tour through the big mean world...rocknroll refugee?? tsk...
Waters was such a moron, his lyrics suck so hard on selfpity and if people stopped confusing complicated music technique with a good song, none'd confuse Pink Floyd shit with art. Man, I can't believe people are discussing about lyrics that mean so little and nothing good or interesting!

The White Stripes – Hypnotize Lyrics 21 years ago
"So many times I called your house Just to hear the tone And though I knew you weren't home I didn't mind so much 'cause I'm so alone" - how does this fit to the interpretation, that boys are deceiving? What's deceiving about this? You'd read all the lines, I think it's about shy man in love. I only could imagine that what you read as irony is a literal description of a man's feelings, which are insecure, he's not sure if he'd reveal himself completely to the girl without having a "way out" or something. "And if this comes as a surprise
Just think of all those guys Who would tell you lies"
If you are a girl I once more discovered the main problem between men and women. ;)

The White Stripes – Do Lyrics 21 years ago
If you try to think through everything you do before you do it, you're unable to act, because of the infinite amount of choices you have in every decision you make.
A 'decision' is even if you think something because you judge to think something and not anything else.
"When thoughts start to feel like mine they're taken from me" means that they become alienated because you notice someone else having them.
And the fading idols are people, maybe musicians or stars that give advices in their songs with which you can identify, but when you hear them talking in interviews it's like destruction of a mystery (which could be "the great rock'n'roll swindle" if you know what I'm talking about) and they can't be taken as a reference.
All in all, as I said, the song is about relativism an it criticises it with the last four lines.
Now I'm going to have lunch, my father's yelling...
