I think that this song is about a relationship where the two people knew that things werent working out too well, so they stopped while they were ahead; hence the quote "It's not fair to stay together because of regrets we might have." Regrets being arguments, or just awkwardness. It is a very good song in that he is trying to be completely truthful about the ordeal and stopping sooner to save eachother from emotional problems in the future is a good thing, although it might be hard for the two in the beginning. |
