he says that when he was in college he saw a bunch of friends whose fathers were "successful," but at the cost of not really being there for their wife and kids
his dad, joe corrigan, was the opposite. his dad went through periods of financial security and bankruptcy, but still kept his family as his priority.
brad often dedicates this song to his dad

yeah, i've seen the music video. Great one : ) i think it was written in costa rica, he's written a few there. "fallin'" was another one,i think. i know what you mean about the dispatch break up...sucks. hopefully they'll get back together? at least once more? for the elias fund or something...
i can't wait to see brad live. i got an email from him a couple of weeks, and he wants to come down here (uni. of florida) and play for us sometime. :) i can't wait...i've got a bunch of his live stuff from basecamp and etzel and such...great stuff. much better live, even though the cd is awesome. |
