A simple Google search shows "the white lady" as a name for cocaine, heroin, and even meth. Seems there is some ambiguity there, and perhaps you are both right. It's just a colloquial term anyway, and it surely varies among regions. |

Positive backing can help cheer you up, regardless of bipolar disorder.
Furthermore, he talks about his inner cosmology, seemingly an allusion to chemical imbalance or bipolar disorder. I don't see how bipolarism is "simpler" than a drug addiction. With drugs, at least you can often eventually kick the habit. You're stuck with your own mind for life. |

I think that if you're offended by the lyrics, it's best to not listen. There are 10,000 religions out there, and some people have an ethical problem with believing that only ONE of them can be right. That attitude causes a lot of hate and problems. |

I also like the sudden transition from seemingly talking about the woman to seemingly talking about drugs, where he says that he had to go rehab. As if he's implying that his addiction was worsened by his loss. |

And it seems like the dog line is a direct reference to how she was killed, but I'm not too familiar with the story. |
