Taking Back Sunday – Suburban Home/I Like Food (The Descendents cover) Lyrics 20 years ago
Well put, infotainment lad. I heard the Suburban home riff coming from the TV in my living room and looked in to see what was going on and I heard some horrible pop-emo-poser-rock cover of it and wanted to cry into my Milo Goes To College CD.

This cover is a travesty. I feel sorry for the Descendents.

Bowling for Soup – Milo Lyrics 20 years ago
The bits you were unsure of:
"I didn't know this girl from Adam. She was with some guy named Stan."
"Maybe if she makes us breakfast,
One of us will hold her hand.
"She hit up "P" for a CD, and he thaught that he might score.
Next thing you know her minds on "Q" but he was passed out on the floor."

This song is about The Descendents, an obvious influence to Bowling For Soup, I don't blame them. The song makes references to "Silly Girl", "Clean Sheets" and "Sour grapes" all of which are Descendents songs. For those who didn't know Milo Auckerman is the singer of The Descendents.

Audio Karate – Misfortune Lyrics 20 years ago
Pretty straight forward and explicit lyrics pointing out that things aren't always the same as we have been told they are and expect them to be. The writing of this song was most likely provoked by a time when expectations hadn't been lived up to.

Audio Karate – The End Won't Justify The Means Lyrics 20 years ago
To me this song is about someone (aged 17) who puts relationships before his friends and it starts to weaken his friendships. The thing that worsens this is the fact his friends are watching him get used by girls contastantly. His end won't justify the means.

Audio Karate – Jason Lyrics 20 years ago
These are some amazing lyrics, really implicit and "deep". I'm guessing it's about a friendship, maybe a friend making you feel inadequate and you being to feel jealousy towards them? All I know is that one of the old singer named it Jason because he played the intro guitar.

Audio Karate – A Whole Lotta Weight Lyrics 20 years ago
It's really hard to tell what Audio Karate's songs are about as Art writes them really implicitally. Therefore the lyrics mean a lot to himself, but as they dance around the original subject matter are more open to personal interpretation, which is a great way to write amazing lyrics. "A Whole Lotta Weight" is no exception. Out of context, I think this song is about making a decision that you know is right for you and will make you happy, but people constantly tell you you're missing out on life but you retain that looking back you'd make the same decision. I guess really it boils down to the fact you don't care what people think. I could be, however, totally wrong!

Audio Karate – Drama Club Romance Lyrics 21 years ago
This song is about one of those really fake relationships, it's all just a front, like a drama presentation: You're just putting on a show.

Audio Karate – Rosemead Lyrics 21 years ago
I think this song might be about their old band the goonz... If you've ever been in a band you'll know how much you write you name out when you're bored. I dunno maybe i'm wrong.
