Absolutely sublime! Reminds me of Nena's irgendwie/wo/wann somehow, the happy beats but sombre haunting melody Anyway, I cant seem to find a meaning for this song that fits exactly the way I would feel 'that's right'. the other explanations are pretty cool but something's missing for me. the song just evokes indescribable emotions |

it's such a beautifully crafted song, the chorus just pulls me in... it reminds me of the time when I was just waiting for my grandmother to die. She had cancer and its effects (+therapy) were just ravaging her life away. And she was such a beautiful person but time & life took its toll on her.. badly. And she jsut withered away. |

I'm not really sure what this song means but to me, I think it's about a long distance relationship? She loves her man but she has to be far away (because she's restless & wants to pursue her dreams or watever else). She knows there's the price to pay for this and she understands there's obstacles & temptations but ultimately, she still loves him & is torn between beaing apart doing somethign she wants or to be with him. Hmmm, I hope I made sense. But I just love them! |

Oh I always thought this song was about childhood sweetheart (because I'd always thought it was 'not since you were 9') and she leaving the small town because she knew she could make it out somewhere bigger (one chance to show them, one shot's all you get) Oh well, that was my opinion.
