i love this song, the lyrics are raw. they "tell it like it is" i cant point out one spot because they are all like that. Chris Martin displays the music perfectly. it's also interesting to see how other people relate it to themselves and what they're going through. (i do too!) i love the whole coldplay album and i havent always been a fan. but im hooked now. every song can relate to you in a different way. i dont know what there is to write because everything is amazing. |

sorry, im posting about an early post- i agree with beatles fan one when they said that weather it is about lsd or any drugs, it should be about the musical aspect of it. i think its good to think about the music and stuff but if you pry apart the song then it kind of ruins it doesnt it? i find it better to just listen and come to your own conclusion. no one probably wants my opinion but o well. |

ive listened to the "if theres a bustle...." part backwards and i couldnt here the backwards lyrics, ill try later. i had a different version though and before they started playing it they said that it was about like, love or something and i was like, wtf are you talking about? There's a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold And she's buying a stairway to heaven. When she gets there she knows, if the stores are all closed With a word she can get what she came for. wow. amazing song. i love fall out boy, and this song pretty much sums up my whole situation. i saw it differently though. i dont think its about the girl cheating with the guy. for me it was like they were already in a relationship, and to one of them it was a big mistake (and your biggest mistake) and it was like embarassing for them. almost like theyre trying to cover it up so they just forgot anything that might have happend. i might be completely wrong but thats how i see it |
