I kinda agree with shivashan, it does seem as if his love isn't human but some kind of artwork maybe, for some reason it seems like maybe a statue. That's just what I get out of it. No matter what the truth is behind this song, it is still amazing and one of my favorites of this album. |

Well, there can never be a "greatest band ever" for the whole population. There can, however, be a "greatest band ever" for a single person. So, technically, arguing with others about the "greatest band ever" is a futile and pointless thing. It would simply be an exchange of opinions, opinions are nice things, but they don't prove anything about what they are said about, only about the person, place, or thing that said them. We can say that a band sold the most albums, made the most money, or had the most hits, but, unfortunately, money, power, and popularity don't mean shit. |

Hmmmm... "I hate this, this sucks, they suck, I hate them" calm yourself, I don't understand how people can judge people and things so quickly. I have no problem with people expressing their opinion, but I don't think it's necessary to make awful comments about how some people live their lives. I don't necessarily "hate", well "rednecks" I don't really know what else to call them , but if I had a choice I would much rather be in the company of a free-thinker than an redneck any day. I don't know what would drive a person to choose the other option. Then again, I guess people do generally like the company of peers. Making stereotypes and deciding you hate others just because of some title is called prejudice, I personally think that is wrong. So anyways, it's a lot easier to live life happily and accept others than hate everything. By the way, the Dead are a pretty rocking band =). Peace, much peace everyone. |

This is one of my favorite songs he performs. I've heard it live and it is amazing, the crowd went absolutely wild during it. The version with Trey Anastasio (Phish, second favorite band) and John Popper (Blues Traveler) is my favorite all time Dave performance. |
