| CKY – Afterworld Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| I think this song is about the acceptance of death and brushing off the inherent fear. Free yourself from the prison that is fear and live your life. Do things that scare you, take risks, do everything that you're told NOT to do. Carpe diem. | |
| Metallica – The Call of Ktulu Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| This song is absolutely fascinating - that's all I can say. Whenever I listen to this, I picture the entire band playing on the edge of a cliff next to the ocean. And as they play, Cthulhu rises above them as they stare each other down. Gives me shivers. | |
| Alexisonfire – It Was Fear Of Myself That Made Me Odd Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| I'd have to agree with henry_manback. I believe this song is essentially personifying industry. Industry is slowly and surely destroying the earth, and I believe Alexisonfire has done an incredible job in demonstrating this fact through their music. | |
| HIM – Venus (In Our Blood) Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| I'm not exactly sure what this song means...but the intro is really cool. If you reverse it, you can hear chimes sounding and if you listen carefully you can hear a girl say something like 'Where are we going, Daddy?'. Weird stuff...but cool. Love this song and the rest of Dark Light. | |

I think this song is about two dying friends. Each one only has a short time to live and they decide to spend the last days of their lives together - watching the flowers grow, wandering around the city, just basically appreciating everything for what it is: sit we'll take our time watching the flowers grow all the friends we've known say goodbye I think they both have their regrets - letting life pass them by: and you did you suffer much did you close your eyes just to see the night rush on by And I believe the parts containing "hope that we don't let you down again" regard to the family and friends of the two friends which have died. They are at their funerals and regret all of the seemingly awful, but trivial, things they've done to them: gathered all around you hope that we don't let you down again i said i'm so glad to be here does it mean a thing That's just my take on the song. |

| CKY – Tripled Manic State Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| I think this is essentially a mental patient's thoughts as he goes through rigorous inhumane procedures and experiments that the 'doctors' put him through to try and 'fix' him. | |
| CKY – Suddenly Tragic Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| I think this song is about someone who has been continuously ridiculed and finally decides to go on a killing spree and, in the end, kills himself. | |
| CKY – All Power To Slaves Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| To me, this song is basically about people who want to be different but can't because of uptight and conformist society. And the song's message is essentially 'keep fighting for your beliefs and one day conformist soceity will fall'. That's my two cents. | |
| CKY – Shock And Terror Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| Yeah, I think parabola's hit the nail on the head with this song. Does anyone else hear like a cell phone ringing at around the 2:57 mark of this track? Listen very closely at around 2:57-3:00. Maybe I'm hearing things, though... | |
| CKY – Familiar Realm Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| Great song, and yeah, it's basically about the band-related troubles that CKY have gone through in the past and how they just keep occuring. | |
| David Usher – Forest Fire Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| I think this song is about someone who completely disregards life's consequences and pays for them dearly in the end. It could be someone reliving their past as well. That's what this song means to me, at least. | |
| moist – Gasoline Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| Yes, I agree, the 'gasoline' could mean problems and trying issues. I believe that the 'machine' he's referring to would either be his brain or the basis of feeling and emotion. If so, the 'gasoline, the problems, could simply be the fuel of emotion and feeling. That's my two cents on the song... | |
| The Jealous Sound – The Fold Out Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| I see this song as being about a mislead teen who is lured into using drugs and the effects it has on him/her. Something along those lines. | |
| Enigma – Return To Innocence Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| This song reminds me of my mother and I remember this being her favorite song when I was younger. I associate those days with happiness and I cry everytime I hear this song. It has an incredible 'feel' to it. Absolutely beautiful song. | |
