Its pure comedy that after black cow of death posted his initial opinion (which was dead on i might add!) this total moron named Driftwood21 makes the most moronic Louis Farrakhan inspired rant that made absolutely no sense. No shit Driftwood, we are all nobodys. The real comedy came after Black Cow replied to Driftwoods outright attack on him personally with an even more brilliant reply (which i might add is also dead on!) & this total numbskull named The Bozman starts bitching at Black Cow with "yeah, you can have an opinion, but why the hell should you be able to ridicule others"...Ummm excuse me? Driftwood was the one doing the ridicule, Black Cow stated the obvious about the shitty quality of Bright Eyes and this provoked an unwarrented personal attack on Black Cow by Driftwood. I didnt have much of an opinion on bright eyes before i heard this song...it was bland and quite crappy music in my opinion. But after hearing the hatefulness of this and all of your accounts of Coner's anti-bush sentiments at live shows...I say fuck bright eyes. You can be anti-bush if you want, Radiohead are and i love them, but there is a point of reason. You can do the quite, but effective, protest like Radiohead or you can be an obnoxious piss ant screaming at a wall like NOFX and Bright Eyes. This song lacks all the qualitys of good music. The frontman of Osker was a great writer, but he sucked at singing just as much as Conor. There is no excuse for music being THIS BAD! |
