Wow, what a beautiful song...I totally happened across this gem of a band by accident through a cd that changed hands. I'm so surprised I haven't heard of these guys before, this would get so much radio play if these guys were American or Canadian...and I'm kind of glad they aren't! The part where the girl sings "grow till we're stronger" sends shivers down my spine. My take....it's a song about the love of your life, someone who made such a strong impression on your life that you might leave them, but never for long, or you'll at least always think of them. |

I saw these guys live at Princeton in May 2007, they played this song and hot damn they were good. The lead singer is cute, too. I suppose this song has something to do with hurtful messages on a cellphone. But to me this song is just a beautiful reminder of my trip to New Jersey, it totally made my time worth the while. I love the sad jibe to it and I hope more people sstart listening to them..

why didn't I think of the metaphorical and analogical aspect to this literary piece of satire???? Brilliant! Kay I'm thinking whoever wrote that is a hardcore speechwriter.

I thought the video for this song was hilarious though. I can't believe people like them get paid for cavorting on stage like drunks. And when he turns around, arms raised, in that white trench coat...oh god it's genius. Why didn't I think of that?!?! |

This song is so calm, sweet and nostalgic, it just feels like home and makes you want to either get a huge epiphany or burst out crying. It' so beautiful and makes you think of happy times, don't you love how they take an inatimate object like a shirt and put a story behind it? You can't describe it. You just have to listen and have experienced something like this in your life. |

The video is so sweet. The way they shoot all that old school vintage stuff like the pickups and brick school building and fields makes you wanna cry. It's about the beautiful, innocent, simple times, and I wish i could get back there. It's so easy to mope and wish, but it's so sad and sweet how he at least has the photograph to look back on, because you can't cry because it's over, but smile because it happened. |

huh, i didn't know that chester fellow was abused.
there may be a deep meaning in these lyrics, but i phased out of linkin park when i was about 13, because i found out that they were only making me feel depressed and fueling my angsty tendencies. let me tell you, twas an embarassing period of my life. The beginning of this song is so whiny it makes me want to sock him one, i'm serious. you can convey emotion without scream whining. |

it has a decent beat and stuff but i wish they're go easy on the hoarse screaming and metal junk guitar. if you stop listening to any of their songs halfway through, silence hits you like a truck. it's like listening to a plow pulling a car on it's side along. |

I also love the part where he goes "I said IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII'm.." the guitar in the background sounds like a jet engine/siren, it's so cool! how come so few people have commented on this song? When I first heard it I thought it must be a top ten or something. Its so inexplicably pretty. I think it's about being in a weird, foreign place and missing everything about your home. Does the part about 'park hotel' imply something sleazy? I used to like Linkin Park, but I got tired of them once spring started cause when you think about it, they're just complaining about life in all of their songs. Anyway I don't think this song needs much explaining, its pretty straightforward. Basically they're saying life is a bottomless pit of despair in every one of their songs. How inspiring. |
