Personally I don't like new rap much (at all), but i find no shame in telling people to drop it like it's hot while acting "gangsta".
As for Snoop Dogg always talking about himself, go with what you got is what I say. If that's what he's good at and it's making him money then why not? |

When you think about it it doesn't have to be about someone who's manic depressed. Everytime I hear this song I just think about all the times I'll go through a different mood in a day. The smallest things make the day better or worse. You really can't help it. The whole song is really about the whole life deal where it's just one huge up and down rollercoaster.
And the whole thing around you're a fool seems like he's saying exactly how stupid it is that we get so into these feelings and this life when it's really pointless emotions and incoherent thoughts. |

its about how as you try and try to get away from society or parts of society you find them everywhere, you're overtaken. And if and when this happens he gives the perfect advice to just let go live life. Then there's the last line, all the choices fit but the emphasis is on the last one. At least that's what it is to me. |

I don't know why but I always thought this song was about a gay cowboy. I'm not saying this in a bad way at all. I think it has something to do with this old movie i saw once... But it makes sense. He's pissed off because he's different. To me its a song about hopelesness because life is so cruel and there's pretty much nothing we can do about it. |
