Hopesfall – The End Of An Era Lyrics 23 years ago
This song is simply masterful, in my opinion. It covers that wide range of emotions when someone you really care about is gone...from the initial shock, to the final realizations that they're gone and the celebration and the happiness and personal growth that you had just from knowing the person. This song doesn't make me sad at all. The ending...the last lyrics...that is the way that I try to view everyone who leaves. No regrets, no emptiness, just happiness and fond memories.

Try it. You'll live longer and be happier.

Claudio is talented as hell. His vocal range makes me so fucking jealous. This song is awesome, though I prefer "Everything Evil" and "Neverender."

And the word fuck has so many meanings that I won't get into it here.

From Autumn to Ashes – Take Her To The Music Store Lyrics 23 years ago
This is a great song, and the lyrical in-your face kicks ass.

Personally, I Take Her to the Music Store about every three days or so, and my girlfriend LOVES IT. :)

Wesley Willis – I Whipped Batman's Ass Lyrics 23 years ago
Wesley Willis is so complex.

I mean, any ordinary artist would have written made this song and "I Whipped Superman's Ass" the same, but not the great Mr. Willis. Lines like "Batman beat the hell out of me and knocked me to the floor, I got back up and knocked him to the floor" truly capture the incessant rat race of this culture.

Or maybe it's just a schizo with a keyboard.

Thursday – Cross Out The Eyes Lyrics 23 years ago
Vampirelover: Hard to be the grammar high priest when you DON'T FUCKING CAPITALIZE THE FIRST WORD OF YOUR SENTENCES. A 1st grader knows better. I'm glad you hate your life. I hate knowing that people like you exist, and in some cases even pro-create.

Thursday IS (there ARE multiple members of the band, but the band itself is a single entity) simply amazing. I've seen them live once already and I can't wait to see them again at Warped. They put on a great set. To me, "Full Collapse" is probably one of the most concise musical statements I've heard in years.

"You are all a bunch of jerks, really. Being so elitist about something you're supposed to enjoy. If it means something different to them, and they want to classify it as emo, or you want to classify it as not, whatever. Jesus. Let them. Don't be so god damn elitist about it. It's music, meant for enjoyment, that's what it's made for, NOT for you to know what it truly is and not them, because ask ANY band out there that isn't in it for money, they'll tell you they do it to play their music because it's what they love to do.

*shakes head* It's stupid, really, screaming at someone for not having your same opinion, or not being as 'elite' as you about the music. "

The whole POINT of leaving messages in places such as this is to discuss, and yes, even argue people's taste in music. If you are too squeamish to handle a few harsh words, turn off your fucking computer and go watch Oprah.
