| Judas Priest – Beyond The Realms Of Death Lyrics

This is just such an amazing song. It is like, Judas Priest's stairway to heaven and i can't believe there are this few comments. Rob Halford has such a briliant voice and the solo is great.
And, if you play it, it is very similar to Metallica's "One". It must have een the inspiration for "One", they are very similar guitar parts. |

I only ever once watched jackass i think that sort of program is bollocks, and i heard of this band through a friend... People go on about this song so much (no, they dont know its name either) and true it is a kickass song but if you go through the rest of their songs there is better stuff - Escape From Hellview, Flesh Into Gear, Inhuman Creation Station, Attached At The Hip, Disengage The Simulator etc... |

The lyrics up there are a bit shagged^^, but it is a tale of two planes "strangers in the night" - the "747" and "Scandinavian 101" which are both flying into a New York that's without power. |

i love this song so much. Everyon can identify with the song, and the way they are mostly rather sad lyrics over a very "happy" song is very effective.... love the whole album, its brilliant and i'm suprised more people haven't picked up on it, not many people seem to have heard of them. |

| Linkin Park – Breaking The Habit Lyrics
| 21 years ago

Many different meanings can all be applied to this song. Suicides, Depression, Self-Harm. I don't think it's about drugs, it's not really a linkin-parky subject. This song was concieved about chester, who was abused as a child and has history of alcohol and drug abuse, although mike half-wrote it about a friend who self harmed. It has deep meaning for chester and he couldn't sing it for ages without breaking up (anybody know if he's ever done it live??, i dont think so).
On a separate issue, you cant just yell 'linkin park is shit'. You have to listen to other peoples opinions. I personally didnt like linkin park for ages, but then i listened to the songs properly, and lyrically and musically they are really well written and well worth listening to.... |
