i played this to a friend and they were like yeah i've heard this..it's dirty! only after that did i even get the sense of it being about a dildo...i still find this ludicrus by the way gah! there are so many reasons it's not!! here's how i saw it from the very start coin operated boy sitting on the shelf ....her little puppet perfect man, who she can take down and play with whenever she wants/needs to...(many girls would agree they have one of these guys who IS just a friend,and they know all the right things to say, and sometimes you can even get to thinking...are they boyfriend materail?) made of plastic and elastic he is rugged and long-lasting who could ever ever ask for more love without complications galore many shapes and weights to choose from ----she can design and make him exactly what she wants...later in the video you see her drawing out plans i will never cry at night again wrap my arms around him and pretend....he will always be there but she has to pretend that all is well and that she loves this..machine BRIDGE MAJOR PART OF SONG..she even says why it is written.... this bridge was written to make you feel smittener with my sad picture of girl getting bitterer can you extract me from my plastic fantasy...she's challenging this boy who she obviously loves to show himself to be better than her design(which is possible as 1)she loves him 2)he's capable of real emotion-oh and c'mon be realistic who has a fantasy dream world about a perfect vibrator! to hold in your arms...the only fantasies etc generally involve another person... i didnt think so but im still convinceable will you persist even after i bet you a billion dollars that i'll never love you will you persist even after i kiss you goodbye for the last time will you keep on trying to prove it?(she kinda also knows she's asking a huge amount that the guy even if he tries may feels it's futile i'm dying to lose it...(this coin-op boy is slowly killing her inside...she needs this real love) i want it (the desperation shows she's torn about revealing these raw emptions...she wants the dream...but that's her safety) i want you(she admits she wants the real boy!!but quickly changes it back to this coin-op boy) i want a coin operated boy. coin operated boy he may not be real experienced with girls but i know he feels like a boy should feel isnt that the point that is why i want a coin operated boy with his pretty coin operated voice(vibrators don't speak people) saying that he loves me that hes thinking of me straight and to the point(she is so obviously pissed off here..that people aren't straight to the point..but when it's what she gets from her coin-op she hates it, it's not natural....and if you've gone from a relationship where there's love but it's messed up and this guy comes along being all perfect and smarmy saying all the right things IT DOES PISS YOU OFF) that is why i want a coin operated boy.(resigned to the dream) sorry for the length |
