This song is so chilled out... The ba-ba-ing is actually a bit annoying to me but the chorus is the longest part of the song, and the best.
The meaning is pretty straightforward. But I gotta be honest; living in the country doesn't solve any of these problems either. |

It seems like all I do is think how great things used to be, and I'm currently going nowhere fast... so this song, though not particularly "sad" sounding, hits home for me. I love it. So underappreciated. |

Uh... if somebody gets hooked on coke because one or two people commented on a song called cocaine and said it was the cool thing to do, they're pretty much doomed to failure anyway. I feel no pity there.
On the other hand, the song is both pro- and anti-coke, not necessarily drugs. He is living the life of a cokehead; he knows it's no good but he still feels like it's the one and only answer to any question. |

I'd have to say it's about two people only half-loving each other. You can't mistake the line, "If we could take the time to lay it on the line
I could rest my head." For whatever reason both people are kind of holding back and it's ruining things, if they'd only put themselves out there it would be worth it in the end.
I was with a girl for almost 3 years in a relationship like that. I heard this song on the radio when I was in the car with her and it smacked some sense into me, and I broke up with her soon after. Best decision I ever made. |

I've always found this song to be mighty catchy. The mere cockiness cracks me up, never fails. |

It might be the drugs. Or it's just the both of us. On drugs. Either way, I'm pretty sure these guys are old school psychedelic. Shit, watch the L.S.F. music video, it'll blow your mind. |

I think it has to do with everything mentioned so far.
I think it has to do with drugs (I'm guessing shrooms), coming down from a heavy trip, having done something that you wouldn't usually do when you're under the influence, and maybe jeopardizing a friendship. But this is one of those songs that could be interpreted so many different ways, and until someone gives me a description of it by the artists themselves, it's whatever you want it to be. |
