This is the first song that i've been able to call my favorite for over 2 years. Modest mouse too...
One of the first times i heard it, i was just getting into modest mouse.. it was a few years ago, during my musical puberty.. I was camping and decided to go for a walk at 5:30 in the morning.. right as the sun was sort of rising..i put the moon and antarctica in my cd player and walked towards in the woods... after listening to 3rd planet and loving it, gravity came on as i accidentally found a path to the lake.. right as i walked on to the beach "oh gotta see, gotta know right now.." there was a fog reaching all across the the water and the sun was just starting to hit everything.. i found a boulder that hurng over the lake.. set my cd player on repeat and sat there until i wasn't alone anymore... it was just one of those beautiful moments with music that changed my life.. thought i'd share it |
