LOL... I love how people think they can just pass judgement on her, as if they know what they're judging on or their basis for judging. And you think that because you don't agree with HER decisions for HER career in HER life you can just trash her for it. Not only that, but GET OVER her wardrobe! EVERY PERSON wears what they wanna wear. Hell, when I go shopping and I see something I like, I'll buy it. DON'T WE ALL? She's 20 years old, I don't care if she's wearing some kind of "preppy prissy" look one day, and a "hardcore punk" look the next day, and why the hell should anyone care? THEY'RE HER FREAKING CLOTHES. People are so childish these days. And as far as singing goes... if she didn't have talent she wouldn't have sold millions of albums. That's all I have to say about that. Obviously she's making more than ANYONE here, so she's doing something right. And yeah, people say she wouldn't have made without Jessica. Probably not, but no matter how she did it, she did it. You don't like the song? Say you don't like the song. You don't like her clothes? Go ahead say it. Her voice? Hell, sometimes it gets on my nerves. But do you have to go on a bashing rampage about it? Get a grip and grow up. |

I really can't stand this song. #1, because the first line of the chorus seems to be dragged on forever. It seems like he just randomly thought of the words off the top of his head... "i don't want to be anything other than what i've been trying to be lately"... ugh it bugs me. and #2, i hate any song with dialogue in it, where he starts talking in the middle of it. "if you're not like this and that..." just my opinion |

I can't stand it... the main reason is because she says "since you've been gone" waaaaaay too much throughout the song. Has anyone else noticed this? |

What I'm about to say is not just my opinion, but it is the honest truth: This song does not promote a good message, in any way. Basically, what she's saying is that if a guy can sleep around, why can't she? She's not saying "man-whores need to stop sleeping around"... she's saying "Well they can do it, so I can too." Does it make it any better that not only guys are whores, but now girls wanna be too? NO. Plus, she's hypocritcal in the song: "It's sad you get your fame through controversy"... what the hell does she think she's doing that's keeping her famous? This song is controversial, her videos are controversial. She probably feels guilty for being a slut, so now she's trying to JUSTIFY it. Ha... good luck with that. |
