no, the lead singer sam endicott does not sound like alex kapranos or brandon flowers, sam has a deeper depth in his voice and it's alot more melancholy that alex or brandons, i think this song is sam explaining to someone who has fallen out of friendship with him and apologizing without saying "i'm sorry". sometimes i forget that i'm awake ,I fuck up and say these things out loud, my old friend this line is him explaining what he did. |
