i know he said its about guys that rape and get raped in jail, but some lines dont fit. why call him "my friend" and keep saying "again" also "am i the only one"? doesnt fit perfectly. i like the metaphor of comparing using your friends to raping them, also how the press was always all over kurt. but in the end, this song can have a idfferent meaning for anyone |

i think that nirvana songs can be interpreted on so many levels, and can really mean whatever you want them to mean, but in my opinion this song is sort of reminiscent. the first three songs on the album are auto-biographical: smells like teen spirit being sex-filled teenage years, in bloom being a middle aged musician, and come as you are at the end of his life, hoping death comes. breed is then the reminicings on his life, his failures and his successes |
