| Ramones – I Wanna Be Sedated Lyrics

alright, i've you've every been sedated, its like, seriously like time travel, because you dont feel anything at all and wake up X amount of hours later. and joey says "nothing to do, nowhere to go" so i think he's bored out of his mind, and just wants the next show to come a lot quicker, and if he was sedated, it definitely would. so i think its just about impatience and anxiety for the next concert. |

But i've seen the movie and after the first concert, dee dee does say a line. and i know it consists of "pizza" haha, but its so funny, he just makes the most disgusted face when Riff puts the pizza in the envelope. hahahaha. I LOVE DEE DEE! GABBA GABBA HEY! |

| Ramones – Bonzo Goes To Bitburg Lyrics

jookilicious is right. Bonzo was the name of the clown that ronald reagan played when he was an actor. When joey said the chorus (my brain is hanging...) i think it means he (and the ramones) is so far ahead by actually seeing the corruption in politicians, when everyone else just seems to think that because they are so powerful, that they dont make any mistakes. I love this song so much. I also don't like a lot of politicians because of how much they lie, and how selfish some are. |

if you've ever seen "A Clockwork Orange", the car that the droogs steal and drive to the old guys house is a Durango '95. So i think that the ramones saw this, and made up their own theme to that scene of the movie. i mean cuz its upbeat (they've just stolen a car and are running people off the road) i think it fits really well. |

whats so punk about the ramones? man, are you serious? they dont give a fuck, all their songs contain about a total of 3 different chords, anyone can sing and play their songs (they may not be as geniune). thats seriously what punk is all about, just not caring and doing what you want, regardless of other peoples opinioin. when the ramones first started, no one liked them, but did they care? apparently not, because they just kept doing what they loved. The second comment on this song (by Floydian) makes a lot of sense if you have ever experienced it (locked eyes with someone). Also, this sync with 2001: A Space Odyssey is pretty cool, it does work. But just recently I thought of this song as more of an abyssmal theme than interstellar, because I found out that the wierd noises were whales. But overall, I think that if I had to choose the Greatest Musical Masterpiece, this song would be a top candidate, along with Shine On You Crazy Diamond. |

but anyway, I think this song can describe perfectly what I can feel sometimes, just total isolation, but you enjoy it. not a care in the world is amidst your mind, and you just think... |

I can't say that I agree with all of the previous statements. Actually I disagree with a lot of them but they are opinions so they aren't wrong at all (some people don't understand that)
But if you have ever broken a bone or anything, a lot of the lyrics in this song relate to it. From my experience, I lost my hearing(only for a couple minutes), I couldn't feel much of anything except nausea, and according to my friend all I said was "I broke my arm, but it doesnt hurt". (sound familiar?) |

| Led Zeppelin – Stairway to Heaven Lyrics
| 20 years ago
|
My very good friend came up with a different version of the stairway to heaven. Although it has not much to do with this song, i will post it anyway.
You are born, and still being a baby, there is a door, and a staircase. You can barely crawl, and you cant reach the doorknob, so you try the stairs. You get a couple steps up that day, but you get tired so you sleep. When you wake up, you find you are at the bottom of the staircase, although you have grown a little bit, but still not able to reach the doorknob, so you take the stairs again. This time, you get farther up. You sleep. And again you awaken at the bottom. This time, you have grown enough to reach the door knob, but you find it leads to death. You decide to take the stairs. This time, you get so far up, you think it will never end. Now why would anyone walk out the door, when you can have an adventure taking the stairs (that eventually lead to heaven) and have a blast along the way, no matter how steep or mellow the stairs may be? |

| Pink Floyd – [The Wall Concept] Lyrics
|
But my interpretation(meaning it's not THE answer, just what i think) of The Wall is:
All of the negative forces, problems, obstacles, etc. in one's life can be summarized into The Wall. Every brick is every little problem, and they all seem to come together and team up to stop one from what one wants to do/ where one wants to go. It also isolates one from everything/everybody else, almost destroying your sense of expressing feelings and communicating with others. |

has anyone tried playing disc 2 THEN disc 1? because incase you haven't noticed Outside The Wall ends on the beginning of the first cd,( just my opinion but you have to be a complete moron to not have known that) i think it almost makes sense to do it that way, because the music flows perfectly, while the album would end on goodbye cruel world. |

I think that this song is sort of a story(?), someone close to the lady just died, and she is putting the blame on somebody: "Point your Pointers" then like a lot of people she turns to television. i dont know, it sorta fits whats going on in my life right now though. |

| Pink Floyd – Breathe Lyrics
|
But my opinion on this song. no no, this whole album is:
Breathe: About the people who live life relaxed, the people who "ride the tide".
On The Run: The complete opposite, the people who are always trying to achieve their goals, setting very high standards, always "on the Run" etc.
Time: One of the big factors of life. People are always running out of it, can easily cause stress, may drive oneself insane.
The Great Gig In The Sky: I Think this song is about death. and if you remember, when this album came out, it was on a record, this was the END of one side, and death is the END of life. (Maybe?)
Money: Another big factor of life, much like 'Time'. People constantly need more of it, and it can cause people to become greedy.
Us and Them: About violence, and war.
Brain Damage: Insanity. The title speaks for itself. along with the lyrics.
Eclipse: "Everything under the Sun" Without sunlight, there would be no life. Life = Everything under the sun.
I am not saying that is the ONLY CORRECT meaning of dark side of the moon, that was just my interpretation of The Dark Side Of The Moon, and I'm sure your's may be completely different. |

Does everybody realize, that all of these are just opinions? Because everybody is making it sound like there is only one answer to what this song means. Every single thing that somebody has written about this song, is right. there is no one right answer which most people do not realize. |
