She does this with enough emotion that you feel something, yet she lets it be someone else's song as well. It is as if she's creating a song for everyone in the earth who has been hurt, or has lost someone. Her voice is amazing, not just on this track, on every track on the cd. Originally, I bought the cd for "bring me to life' but now I hardly listen to it anymore. I adore the line "You still have all of me." It is so easy to relate to it. We all have someone who has all of us... don't we? |

My friend and her friend were going to do this for talent show. But, as they rehearsed it and played it, the realized that they couldn't do it justice. And I agree. I don't believe that anyone can do these songs over and make them so...unique.
This song reminds me of me. I feel it expresses chasing an old love or friend as you both continue through your life, and though you still be lieve in them, you cannot put that bond back together again... |

The lyrics alone are captivating and controlling. Like "Places you ahve come to fear the most" it paints a picture of teens caught in their angst, which is somethign I can relate to. Beautiful scripture. However, what really caught me when I listened to this was the instrumentation. I espically love the chords on "Here is your moment to shine" and "I'd like to see you undone" That line fits so perfectly within a teenage mind. How many of us wished that the most popular kid in school would drop their shorts or something?

Let me tell you guys a little story about this song, and how I became a DBC fan:
I had a crappy day, just because, no reason really, and I came home from school that day, my brother was playing this song on his computer. So, I liked the band, and I got the Cd for Christmas. Well, about a month ago, one of my best friends and I... broke up. Well, that day, I skipped my piano lesson and just came home and listened to this song over and over again Crying my bleedin' eyes out. It was a bitter break up and when Chris starts screamin at the end, I just Screamed along with him.....
