i love this song, i know its not what it is supposed to mean but this part "Well the clock’s heart it hangs inside its open chest with its hands stretched towards the calendar hanging itself. But I will not weep for those dying days. For all the ones who left theres a few that stayed. And they found me here and pulled me from the grass where I was laid." always makes me think of my friends from back home and how our relationships got kinda fucked up when i went away to college..like some of them are still in my life, but some aren't...i dunno, very good song though. :-p |

The first time I heard this song was when my ex boyfriend and I had just broken up for the second time...about two years ago. I relate to this song so much it could have been written about me. Since it was the second time Dale and I had broken up.."that's what you get for falling again you can never get 'em out of your head " and the part where it says "her killer instincts tell her to be aware of evil men" because this guy who knew my ex was really kind of big and kept hitting on me and i seriously think he would have raped me if ever he had me alone..scary stuff, but the song is still one of my very favorites. |
