I really believe this song is about a lost relationship between a guy and a girl, and how during the relationship everything that happened and seemed to be real and genuine, turned out to be fake and the girl never meant anything she did... and even tho he's lost her, he still feels that she's a part of him and he doesn't undertsand why. |

this exact song, is the meaning behind my user name. this exact song, is how I feel about my life. what it means to me, is prob a different meaning from their intended meaning...but not everyone has the same interperatation of lyrics. to me, it's sounds like it's about someone who is going thru a tough time in life, and they realize that they are better than what they have been going thru, and they are going to start a new life...and how they are a stronger person, they aren't going to look back into the past, and they are going to just focus on the future, and they are stronger than ever before. what an awsome song. |

well first off, I agree with factory81patriot in saying that the Coheed and Cambria album is amazing, just like the MCR one, in the story-line of the album...second, I feel that I can really relate to all of the songs on this album, especially this one. It seems to me like he's talking about a friend who he put his trust in, and how they betrayed him, killed him mentally, and now he's coming back for revenge on them, and won't stop till he gets what he wants. and in the end it seems like he's saying how there's nothing that person can do to escape him, and that he will always remember them, and he will always be with them, whether in actuality, or in a haunting manner. |
