my personal interpretation of the song is that he can invision everything as being perfect with this one person, but he can never get close enough to her, and he realises he is just anybody to her, just another face. We are beggars where blown ***He is basically amidditing he is begging for her love/acceptance*** and I will meet you fourth floor ***im guessing hes thinking or planning on meeting her and getting her acceptance**** and then we'll make up no... ***he realises he wont get what he wants**** no fist to fuckin save you from you knock me out ***He is saying well then fuck this then, you wont have me, even though he knows he is not that wanted anyway, and realising this, it "knocks him out"*** I'll take the burden full-blown and I will be there ***he is taking the burden of not being able to be loved by that person*** no fist to save you from Everything felt good Everything was right at first when I was Maddog ****Everything seemed like it work out for him but now he realises hell never be loved, but i have no idea what the fuck the Maddog is about, that confuses the hell out of me**** Life before I would shine down unshy I want to be much than more while I watch you ***he wishes he could be so much more important to her, as he watches her wishing she would love him**** The music can really give you the idea of what the lyrics are about, tahts why the song is so amazing, you get a hint of what the lyrics are and the music totally backs it up, and you can relate to it easily. amazing. |

| finally, i agree with quiffporn and shadowswitheyes and the last poster (forgot the name) straight-edge, while it may be about not using drugs in a good respect, its mainly about making your own choices. Guess what, im not sXe, but i have friends who are. They dont exactly call themselves Sxe but are drug free and thats great for them, i have a lot of respect for that. Im not going to repeat again whats been said about distorting Ians message, and the whole religion thing, and im not a heavy drug user, but i do like to "indulge" i guess would be the perfect word. I don't try to make excuses for what i do, and im tolerant and have great respect for anyones opinion unless its some over-hardcore sXe asshole, or some crack-head druggy. Its about being in control of your own life, and respecting other peoples decisions, i think people forgot about that. Like i said, i am not sXe, and minor threat is an amazing band. thats my 2 cents. | |
