I love this song. I think it's one of the best songs on this album. This song, along with Hoochie Woman sound like the Tori I enjoy hearing. This album is more subtle and comtemporary. It's way different than what I'm used to hearing from Little Earthquakes, Pele, Choirgirl, but, eh, it will do. She is getting older, and along with that comes the mellow caca, but, she's still the best! |

I once asked Tori about this song, and she said it means, "whatever you want it to mean, and however it applies to you." So, um, here's the thing. It's songs like this one and songs from LE, BFP, UTP that really define the Tori music I worship. The new stuff is nice and sweet, but the classics are still so much more powerful. I understand Tori has evolved and grown as an individual, and let's face it, she IS in her 40s, and I'm sure is seeing life differently now that she is wiser, married, and a mom. These things do have a profound impact in our lives, but, I sure miss the "good ole days" of the first three albums. |
